As General Manager and Technical Authority for Reservoir Geoscience and Subsurface Innovation at PETRONAS, he drives AI/ML integration, high-performance computing, and sourcing strategies aligned with business goals. He currently serves as President (2025–2026) of the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE). An author of three textbooks and over 100 peer-reviewed papers, he has overseen strategic initiatives exceeding US$4.5 billion. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Geophysics, an Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, and executive education from Stanford and Berkeley Haas.
